[ARCHIVED] Make Plans to Attend National Night Out

Chief Terrence Green would like to invite our Town of Lexington neighbors to National Night Out on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, for an evening of fun, food, and fellowship at the Icehouse Amphitheater and Pavilion.

The 2021 National Night Out will begin at 5:30 p.m. and continue until 8:30 p.m. and this is an opportunity to connect with your local law enforcement, first responders, talk about crime prevention, as well as have a great time with your family and friends during this free event.

The planned entertainment for the evening includes Go Go Laser Tag, Elevate obstacle course, inflatables, Carolina Choo Choo Train, Emerald’s Artistry Entertainment face painting, Looney Balloony, photo booth by Big Time Entertainment, and Call My DJ with the music.

2021

This year’s event has more food choices than ever before with the Lexington Police Department grilling up hotdogs from Ole Timey Meat Market, Salsarita’s, Sunset Slush Italian Ice, Aspire Bakeries, Flower Foods, Krispy Kreme, RF’s Corner Grill, Bubba’s Biscuits, Truly Scrumptious Creamery, Showmars, Tropical Grille, LICK Ice Cream, Flight Deck, Blue Bell Creamery, Mingos Cookies, and Phantom Chicken.

Lastly, the support from these businesses and organizations with donations to the LPD Foundation have made this event happen and we are thankful for Serve & Connect, South Carolina State Credit Union, Molina Healthcare, Kehoe Constructors, Palmetto Chiropractic Center, CPI Security, SERVPRO, Sign Gypsies, AT&T First Net, Cumulus Radio and B106.7, Code Ninjas, ECPI University, Woodman Life, Family Orthodontics, Wild Smiles, Max Living, Healthy Blue, Columbia International University, Flock Safety, and Old Mill Chiropractor.

As a reminder, please use public parking lots near the event as those who park in private business parking lots take the risk of being towed from the property at the owner’s expense.

Follow the Lexington Police Department on Facebook and Twitter for updates and look for announcements on the National Night Out with LPD events page.
