The Lexington County Museum will host the “It’s All About Herbs” Festival on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 9am - 3pm at the Museum Complex (231 Fox Street). This event will include mini-demonstrations and seminars, along with a plant sale and silent auction. The John Fox House will also be open for tours. Additionally Lexington County will celebrate Earth Day during the “Backyard Garden Day” on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 9am - 12pm at Red Bank Crossing (1070 South Lake Drive). The event includes Bagged Compost and Compost Bins Sale. Compost can be purchased at the event ($2 per bag). You may also pre-order Compost Bins for $40, which can be picked up at the event.

Finally, Lexington County will host “Spring Cleaning Recycling Day” on Saturday, April 28 from 9am - 1pm at White Knoll High School (5643 Platt Springs Road). The event includes recycling of electronics, household hazardous waste, pesticides and paper shredding.
