Ron has been a resident of Lexington for 21 years. He retired in 2020 after a 26 year career in the boating industry. Ron has been involved in community service most of his life and retirement gives him even more time to volunteer with some of his favorite organizations which include: Lexington Elementary School’s School Improvement Council; Habitat for Humanity Board’s Advisory Committee; Boy Scouts of America for the past 20 years; and as a member of Saint Mary’s Episcopal Church where he serves as Senior Warden.
Ron enjoys community service and his volunteer roles which have provided many opportunities to serve as a mentor, a leader, and a role model especially for Boy Scouts and students who are just learning the importance of giving back to their community.
Ron is very proud to serve the citizens of the Town of Lexington as a Town Council Member. He always welcomes input from citizens on a first hand basis. Ron also attends many of the Town’s Boards and Commission meetings in order to learn and understand issues being addressed. He listens to ideas and plans that will be a benefit for all citizens and which will continue to make Lexington a community where people want to live, worship, work, attend school and play!
Ron is married to Catherine, who teaches at Lexington Elementary School. She enjoys attending the many Town events with Ron and welcoming visitors to Lexington. Ron and Catherine have one daughter, two sons and recently welcomed two precious granddaughters!
