Meet the administration of the Lexington Police Department.
The Patrol Division is presently made up of 25 officers and supervised by Lieutenant Matt Timmerman. There are 4 shifts led by a Sergeant. The Sergeants strive to insure proper patrol coverage by assigning their officer to specified Districts in Town.
CID is tasked with following up on leads in criminal cases. The Criminal Investigations Division is available to respond at any time, day or night, to scenes of any incident.
The Special Operations Division is comprised of several subdivisions under the authority of Lieutenant Thomas Stowe.
The Office of Professional Standard's (OPS) purpose is to ensure that the honor and integrity of the Lexington Police Department is steadfastly maintained.
The Emergency Service Team (E.S.T.) was founded in the spring of 2002 to allow the Lexington Police Department to better prepare for critical incidents and homeland defense.
