The Lexington Town Council holds its regularly scheduled meetings on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Lexington Town Hall, 111 Maiden Lane in the Council Chambers. These meetings are aired on Channel 2, The Town's information channel. An agenda for each regular and special called Council Meeting is posted at Town Hall and contains the items to be considered by the Council.  In order to be placed on the agenda, any item of business for Council's consideration must be submitted to the Town Administrator or the Municipal Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, one week prior to the scheduled meeting. The Council meetings are public meetings and all interested persons are urged to attend.

The Town Council Work Sessions are held on the third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Lexington Town Hall, 111 Maiden Lane in the Eli Mack, Sr. Room. An agenda for each Work Session is posted at Town Hall and contains the items to be considered by the Council. In order to be placed on the agenda, any item of business for Council's consideration must be submitted to the Town Administrator or the Municipal Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, one week prior to the scheduled work session.
