1928 Speed was regulated in Town of Lexington and a penalty set for violations.
1933 Town voted to buy Police Officer's uniform and allow the Officer to pay back the Town in 5 monthly payments.
1947 Town voted to buy V-8 Ford for Police Department to be equipped as needed.
1948 Ordinance passed for 1 hour parking on Main Street .
