The Town of Lexington is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Landscape Technician. This position performs general landscape maintenance, including but not limited to, installing trees and other plant materials, removing dead trees and limbs, applying fertilizers, mulching beds in Town parks, grounds and right-of-ways as assigned.
Applicant must be able to perform tasks that involve physically demanding work including lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (50 pounds). Applicant must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by 2 years of general landscaping experience or a combination of both. The applicant must have a clean driving record and a valid SC CDL driver's license or be able to obtain one within 6 months of hiring.
