Court - Jury Trial
To request a jury trial you will need to come to the Clerk of Court's office before the day of court to fill out a Request for Jury Trial.
If you have an attorney we must receive a letter of representation and jury trial request from your attorney before your court date. **Your attorney will not be recognized without the letter of representation.
If you still want a jury trial and have not done the paperwork you must come to your scheduled court date and time to request a trial.
If you need to apply for a COURT APPOINTED attorney you must contact Lexington COUNTY Clerk of Court at (803) 785-8212 or 205 East Main Street, Lexington, SC 29072. There is an application and fee of $40 that must be completed and paid to see if you qualify.
