Mayor Pro-Tem Hazel Livingston
Background Information:
Hazel Livingston was elected to Lexington Town Council in 1998 and has served as Mayor Pro – Tem since 2004.
Councilwoman Livingston serves as liaison for the Town's Traffic Committee. She was also instrumental in the Town's restoration of the Palmetto Collegiate Institute, which has received recognition from the American Institute of Architects and featured in South Carolina Architecture Magazine.
She currently serves on the Greater Lexington Chamber and Visitor Center Board (Ex-Officio) and plays an active role in the Lexington Beautification Foundation, which host the annual Wine Walk on Main Event. The proceeds of the event will go towards the new Lexington Courthouse Square fountain, opening in May 2012.
Hazel was Fleet Manager for Herndon Chevrolet and was named General Motors Top Ten Sales in 2010 and 2011. She currently works for Green Earth Services, Inc. as their Sales and Customer Relations Representative.
Councilwoman Livingston lives in Woodcreek subdivision and has served as the HOA's Government Relations and Social Chair. She is married to David Livingston, has four daughters and six grandchildren.
