Rate Classification Guide
Business classification rating based on the Standard Industrial Classification codes. Your business is placed in one of eight class ratings based on this code.
Please note that in addition to the business license fee, nearly all new businesses will be required to pay a $20 zoning fee, and some will be required to pay other types of fees, such as building permit fees or capital contribution fees. If the Town of Lexington approves your business license application, someone will call you to discuss the amount and types of fees that you must pay prior to the issuance of the business license to you.
