The Lexington Police Department is frequently requested by schools, churches, businesses, and community members for direction and presentations on what they should do if confronted with an active shooter event. The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend strategy developed by ALERRT, provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. The curriculum can be customized according to the specific needs of your organization.
If you are interested in attending or hosting this free course, please contact Sgt. Rick Hazewinkel at (803) 358-7276 or email@example.com.
